Free mobile idle auto-shooter
Axolotl: Armed and Amphibious
Move the axolotl. His robot guns handle the rest.
A pink axolotl in a cyan scarf straps on the turret he built himself from pond scrap - snail-shell housing, bamboo barrel - and defends his canal from the real-life threats closing in on his kind: a crayfish piloting a hover ship, a water snake with comically huge mech arms, swarms of dragonfly nymphs, living pollution, and one very muscular heron. You steer. The guns do the shooting.
Features
Built on a proven idle-shooter loop: short stages, constant upgrades, and enemies that pay out as they pop. Free to play, forever.
Auto-Fire Scrap Turrets
Your only job is movement. The turret picks the nearest threat and fires on its own, so every run is about positioning, dodging, and knowing when to push forward.
Six Weapon Families
Single Blaster, Scattergun, Lance Rifle, Boom Cannon, Seeker Launcher, and Laser Lance. Each family has its own color and its own trick: a five-pellet fan, shots that pierce through enemies, splash damage, twin homing seekers, or a tight, hard-hitting beam.
The Accuracy Stat
One upgradeable stat that tightens your starting spread, narrows your widest spread, slows how fast sustained fire blooms out, and speeds up recovery when you stop firing. Critical hits scale with it too: the higher your Accuracy, the more often your shots land for double damage.
Stage Map With Bosses
Worlds run five sub-stages at a time, with the heron boss waiting on the fifth. He fights in three phases as his health drops, and his glowing core takes double damage. Clear a stage, earn Worms, upgrade, and keep pushing down the canal.
Endless and Versus
Endless mode throws scaling waves at you until the pond wins, and pays a bonus Worm every 25 kills. The Arena duels your actual equipped build against the crayfish rival rig.
In the current buildA Cross-Game Ecosystem
This is game one of a small family of games that promote each other: house ads for our own titles between network ads, and mini-game levels themed on the sibling games.
GrowingMeet the Cast
Every villain is a genuine threat to wild axolotls in Lake Xochimilco, redrawn as a Saturday-morning cartoon problem.
The Axolotl
The hero. Perpetual smile, cyan scarf, homemade scrap turret on a head strap. His innate specialty is regeneration, because real axolotls regrow almost anything.
Crayfish + Hover Ship
The grunt. An invasive crayfish in a riveted disc hover-ship. Blow up the ship and he drops out on foot: smaller, faster, angrier. Two phases, one bad attitude.
The Heron
The boss. A Rambo-parody heron with a red bandana, a bandolier, and a glowing green core on his chest. That core is his weak point. Aim there.
The Snake
A water snake fitted with comically oversized mech arms, each one gripping a blaster bigger than his head. He is the shooter: the enemy that fires back and keeps his distance.
Dragonfly Nymph
The swarm. Small, quick, and never alone. Individually harmless; collectively a very bad day for an axolotl egg.
Pollution Gunk
The splitter. A dripping sludge brute with a toxic-green grin. Shoot it and it breaks into smaller gunk. Pollution is the biggest threat of all, so it does not go down in one piece.
Downloads
The game is in active development. Store pages are not live yet, so these buttons are placeholders for now. Launch links and tester codes will appear here when builds open up.
Free to play forever. No paywall: ads and purchases stay unobtrusive, and an optional one-time unlock is planned for players who would rather skip ad-based power-ups entirely.
FAQ
When can I download it?
Not yet. The game is in development and this page is a preview. Download buttons above will turn into real store and web links at launch.
What do I actually control?
Just the axolotl. You move him around the pond; his scrap turret aims and fires automatically at the nearest enemy. On a phone, press and drag anywhere and a joystick appears under your thumb; on desktop, use the arrow keys. Upgrades between and during runs make the guns stronger, faster, and more accurate.
Is it really free?
Yes. The full game is playable for free, forever. Monetization is unobtrusive: optional rewarded ads (for example, a 4x Worms bonus after clearing a stage) and a planned one-time $1.50 unlock that grants the ad-based power-ups without ads and removes forced ads.
What are Worms?
Worms are the premium currency, earned by clearing stages. Fitting, since worms are an axolotl's favorite food. Coins drop from enemies you destroy and fund your everyday upgrades; Worms are the rarer reward for finishing levels.
Which devices will it run on?
Android and iOS phones are the target, with a web version planned. Endless mode and the versus Arena are already in the current build.
